Michael Devito brings 30 years of experience across Florida’s residential and commercial construction and development sectors. As co-founder of Devito & Jenne Construction, he leads site analysis, design coordination, engineering oversight, and full life-cycle construction management—ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard of quality, on time and on budget.

Michael also serves as President of Alpha Equity Group, a real estate investment and development firm he founded following the Great Recession. There, he oversees acquisition, entitlement, construction, and disposition across multiple asset classes, including multi-family communities and large-scale commercial developments throughout Florida.

Prior to founding Alpha, Michael spent more than a decade as managing partner and licensed qualifying contractor for Baywood Construction, where he was directly responsible for building more than 1,800 single-family homes across Southwest Florida.

Michael is a Florida Certified Building Contractor, a licensed Realtor, and a Jacksonville University graduate. He brings a rare combination of technical construction expertise, superior communication skills, and leadership—allowing Devito & Jenne Construction to deliver complex projects with complete confidence and precision.

With more than a decade of residential development and construction experience, Darren Jenne has designed and developed hundreds of homes across Florida. As co-founder of Devito & Jenne Construction, his role is to shape the company’s operational systems, develop the technology behind its project management and client-facing tools, and lead the team to ensure mission success.

Darren brings a background in public service, having retired as a Lieutenant with the Tampa Police Department after a 20-year career in law enforcement. Darren’s public- and private-sector leadership experience sharpened his ability to coordinate teams, manage complex operations, and execute under pressure—qualities he now applies to deliver a best-in-class customer experience to Devito & Jenne clients.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Management and has been a licensed Florida Realtor since 2006.

James Devito is a partner at Devito & Jenne Construction and a seasoned real estate development and financial management professional. James ensures the business runs with disciplined financial controls, accurate reporting, and the kind of behind-the-scenes structure that keeps projects protected and clients confident.

Previously, James was a Financial Control Manager at Citibank’s Latin America Regional Processing Center and held multiple leadership roles at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., including Internal Auditor, Regional Operations Manager, and Finance Manager. He also co-owned JM Title Corporation, where he gained hands-on experience in title work, closings, and regulatory compliance.

James earned an International MBA (I.M.B.A.) from the University of South Carolina. He is a licensed Florida Realtor and licensed Florida Title Agent.
